My Father James Ronald Amburgey
He was named for the writer James Still a family friend who wrote books about Appalachia .The Amburgey family was his inspiration and he remained
close his whole life even living in the family cabin where he wrote .


My Grandparents Covie Laskie Amburgey and Gertrude Katheryn Hudgins
pictured here at the first family oil well .We still receive royalty from this well not much but it still provides for our entire family some revenue.

My Greatgrandmother on my fathers side Ethel Hudgins with my Grandmother .I called my Greatgrandmother Mamaw Hudgins.

My fathers senior picture he graduated from Charlestown High school 1957.
